We know some people might still be recovering from New Year’s Eve, but it’s time to celebrate again – this time with one of our favorite Kansas City traditions, KC Restaurant Week. Avenues Bistro is one of the dozens of local restaurants taking part in #KCRW17 from January 13th to January 22nd and we’re happy to be participating for another year.
Kansas City is lucky to be part of an event that encourages locals to eat local and help the community find new, favorite restaurants to support. Whether you’re new to Avenues or one of our frequent flyers, our experienced chefs have put together multicourse lunch and dinner menus with Avenues favorites in all three courses.
Our Restaurant Week menu, which can be found on our brand new website under the menus tab, features lunch options at $15 and dinner options at $33. Starting with the lunch menu, we’re offering soup or salad house favorites for our first course. For lunch entrees, guests have many options, including our decadent and filling Lobster Ravioli and local favorite Steak Frites. Don’t worry sweet tooths, we have a course for you, too. Try one of our 3 most popular Avenues Classics desserts – Rum Chata Cake, Bread Pudding, or Avenues favorite, Chocolate Gateau (mmmm).
Now fast forward to dinner time.Join us in the evenings to try our 3 course, modern take on the best of European cuisine. After starting with soup, salad, or a shrimp cocktail, guests choose from one of the five most popular dishes we’ve been serving at Avenues for the last 10. With the choice of KC Strip Steak, Salmon Piccata, Double Pork Chop, Lobster Ravioli, or Wiener Schnitzel, new and old diners will all find a favorite from our locally and internationally inspired dishes. It wouldn’t be a complete dinner without dessert – dinner guests get to choose from our Rum Chata Cake, Bread Pudding, or Chocolate Gateau at the end of the night, too.
